The new way to get big 7 inch wide wheels and tires under your stock fender! MaXX Struts!
Our new coil-over design with small 75mm spring gives maximum wheel
and tire clearance for larger 16, 17, and 18 inch wheels. Wheels must have a minimum 5
1/2 inch back spacing for best results. Supplied with adjustable ride height housings,
gas GTI shock inserts, springs, billet aluminum spring holders, and closing nut. For 71 to
73 models, this kit lowers from 2 to 5 inches in half inch steps. 74 and later models can lower
up to 3 inches.
As an additional benefit, the reduced weight of our new spring and components results in
less unsprung weight. Less unsprung weight means better ride, and better handling!
This
product can be used with 4 lug VW wheels, or with our Porsche (5 on 130mm) studded rotors or drums.
We also stud for 5 on 100mm, and 4 on 100mm patterns. Wheel spacers and longer studs are required
for many installations...Call for details!
