These stock replacement strut inserts (shock portion of the strut) will replace your stock inserts exactly on 74 to 79 Super Beetles. They reproduce the nice ride and handling that VW intended for your car. Oil filled (not gas). Sold each. Usually Sachs or Cofap brand.
