The 10mm head stud with its associated 10mm nut were used all the way from the early 36HP, all the way through 1969 model “single relief” cases. You may also need 10mm nuts if your engine case has been re-inserted for 10mm head studs. Zinc plated. (Sometimes supplied in black oxide finish.) Set of sixteen.

Case Half Nuts, set of six. These nuts were specially manufactured to have the original VWs 17mm socket size. Generic nuts for the same location have a 19mm socket size, and may interfere with big bore cylinders. Grade 8,8 with clear zinc plating.
