This strut insert is the “shock” part of your Super Beetle lowered strut. It works with our current Versa-Strut, or our previous Adjust-A-Strut. It will probably also fit the numerous Chinese copies of our strut. This is a basic “oil” based non-gas shock. This insert for 74 to 79 lowered Supers does NOT require modification to fit with the Super Beetle top bearing mount. Sold each.
