If you have torn boots on your constant velocity joints, it can dramatically shorten the life of the C/V, especially in wet weather. For installation, you'll have to remove the axles from the rear, slip off the C/V joint from the axle, and install. This boot fits all 69 and later rear (IRS) axles. We recommend you purchase a 12 point tool for removal of the special bolts holding the joints to the axle cups. Sold each.
