Bushing for Steering Damper, Super Beetle. EZ Install#88-3015

This bushing fits into the pitman arm (also called the drop arm) of Super Beetles from '71 to '74. The bushing was designed for easy installation!  The stock hour-glass shaped rubber bushing can be tough to remove and install.  The stock rubber bushing also goes through a lot of strain as the rubber is twisted each time the steering wheel is turned.
This urethane bushing set is installed by placing one half of the bushing onto the steel spacer.  The spacer and second bushing is slipped into place on the other side of the drop arm.  The stock VW bolt is used to pull the pieces together against the steering damper.
This bushing set can also  be used in bugs from '66 to '76 on the center tie rod end that holds the steering damper.   VW part # 113-425-117.  Made in USA!
