US Linkage Weber 48IDA Dual Carb, w/REVERSED Short Manifolds#15-0210

This linkage is made for the Weber 48IDA, and Empi EPC48 and 51 series carburetors.  It is designed specifically for the Empi or Gene berg "reversed" short manifolds.  These manifolds position the fuel fittings and idle mixture screws toward the fan housing.  Special reversed operating levers are supplied for this setup.  The levers are precision laser cut, have welded in hardened steel stop pins,  and are  zinc plated.\n\nA sturdy "behind the alternator" base plate is included.   Special  "drop through" mounting nuts are included so that there is no need to remove or lengthen the alternator stand studs.  The base plate also serves as a mounting point for a return spring. The feel and return of the throttle action can be fine tuned by using either the supplied heavy duty spring, or a stock VW Solex spring (for a lighter feel.)\n\nA hardened dowel pin is securely pressed into place on the aluminum bellcrank block to give you a starting point for installation.\n\nLinkage rods are solid T6 aluminum.  Since the ends are tapped for right and left hand threads, all that is required for adjustment is to twist the shaft to lengthen or shorten.  If you need something special like extra long operating rods for wider engines, please contact us for more information!    Please choose standard bright zinc finish or Stealth Black!  Made in USA!\n\n \n\n \n\n
